Over the last few weeks I have been trawling through all the photos I have taken over the last 5 months, and doing some slight editing of levels and contrast etc. Occasionally being a little more creative, but my skills at the moment are limited and it's a bit daunting having so many photos.

I've finally got round to continuing with a project I started about 2 years ago: I wanted to make felt copies of landscape picture I took on my travels and I'm going to be choosing a selection of my photos this time around. The aim is eventually put them together too create some kind of large wall hanging. But for now I'm starting off small!
Here is a piece that I made for my sister:

So far I haven't stuck to my target of completing a new piece each week. However I have started a couple of new pieces and I have finished this little purse for my housemate.
As you can see it's not expertly made! But it is my first attempt at making something like this in one piece and I learnt some valuable lessons! Also realised my sewing leaves something to be desired- but practise makes perfect!
